On Sunday, January 27, 2019, the Executive Council of Businesswomen in Asharqia Chamber, which is headed by Maram Bint Saeed Al-Jishi, held its first meeting in 2019 at the headquarter of the Chamber.
The meeting discussed several points within its agenda such as the clauses of the Executive Plan of the Council, the highlighted initiatives and programs aimed at promoting women's empowerment, in addition to the specialized activities that will be within the work of the Council in the first quarter this year.
Al-Jishi explained that the Council seeks through the plan of action to implement different and more specialized programs and activities that contribute to discuss the challenges that may face the business sector women in the region with the provision of appropriate solutions with the participation of specialists.
The Council intends to make a number of visits to officials in the relevant departments in order to discuss possible measures to provide support to businesswomen in the Eastern Region and facilitate their tasks and develop the mechanism of work in the service of all parties.
